This was 147 years ago. In 1875 Polish photographer Michał Greim owned a photo shop in the city of Kamianets'-Podilskyi in Ukraine. He took several photographs of the various people living around the region of Podolia – a historic region in southwestern Ukraine. This bride was one of his subjects. She was from a rural village near Kamianets'-Podilskyi.

My little way of showing support. I did my best with the regional coloring of the clothing, using references from the Museum of Ethnography and Crafts in Lviv, Ukraine.
